Base Premier Luxury
In recent years Base has undertaken significant joinery packages in the luxury space manufactured in our facility in Brisbane, notably the award-winning The Continental Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula in Sorrento, Victoria. The hotel was designed by Woods Bagot and brought to life by Base Joinery. The timeless green marble, rattan, and glass feature pieces sourced sustainably and ethically and, most importantly, manufactured in Australia by Base Joinery.
Shortly after finishing the Intercontinental Hotel, Base was approached to partner with BESIX Watpac on a build of the ages here in local New Farm, Brisbane. After seeing the level of finish and brilliantly thought-out concept, and having worked with BESIX Watpac on many projects over the last decade, partnering with Besix Watpac to deliver the stunning Oxlade project was a no-brainer.
It was designed by bureau^proberts and developed by Queensland Prime Investments/Seymour Group, boasting four buildings of 6-storey boutique residential apartments with penthouse apartments fetching upwards of $7 million per residence, further reinforcing the need for a true black caviar finish that Base is known to deliver.
